My name is Wendell Nii Laryea Adjetey (Nii Laryea Osabu I, Oblantai Mantse Atrekor We), and I am a historian, humanitarian, and social entrepreneur. I am deeply committed to advancing pluralism, economic progress, and social change in North America and Africa.
Currently, I am Assistant Professor of post-Reconstruction U.S. history and the African Diaspora in North America and the Atlantic World at McGill University, where I hold the William Dawson Chair.
In 2018-2019, I held the W. L. M. King Postdoctoral Fellowship at the Weatherhead Center for International Affairs and Department of History Lectureship at Harvard University.
